On your own or with others, use these questions as a starting point for thinking about your everyday experiences and practices:

  • How often do I find myself focusing more on the activity than on my interactions with children?
  • What changes can I make to my daily routines and practices to focus more on relationships and connecting with children?
  • What are my own views about particular children's abilities? How might my practices change if saw every child in terms of their potential and growing abilities, rather than viewing children's traits and abilities as fixed?
