Homework Help

Welcome to the Ministry of Education's portal to Homework Help – Ontario's free online math tutoring website for students in grades 7-10. Homework Help is funded by the Ontario government and administered by TVO's Independent Learning Centre.

Homework Help provides free, live one-on-one tutoring for Ontario math students in grades 7 to 10 by certified Ontario teachers.

Students can log in from Sunday to Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. EST, for 20 hours a week of individualized confidential math tutoring. There are discussion rooms for each grade where students can join in and see what questions other students are asking, watch the tutors write on the whiteboard – and ask their own question for on-the-spot help.

All tutors are Ontario-certified teachers and have been trained to work with the students to help them understand their math problems.
